EQS-News: FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft / Schlagwort(e): Sonstiges FORTEC Elektronik AG gets a new anchor shareholder Along with today’s communication of two voting rights notifications, FORTEC Elektronik AG was informed that TRM Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (TRM) has disposed of part of their long-term voting rights share of 30.23 % in FORTEC Elektronik AG on 11 September 2023 and will therefore reduce their shares to 5.16 %. The new anchor shareholder in FORTEC Elektronik AG with a voting rights share of 25.07 % will be members of the German entrepreneurial family, Wiegand or companies controlled by them. The transfer of shares that are part of the disposal has not yet been completed. The shares are expected to be transferred on 19 September 2023. The FORTEC Elektronik AG Management Board believes that the change of controlling shareholder will have no immediate effect on the company’s Management Board or the Supervisory Board. Sandra Maile, CEO of FORTEC Elektronik AG, summarises the change as follows: “With the entrepreneurial family, Wiegand, we are getting a new strategic anchor shareholder that is focussed on the long term. The trusting dialogue between the anchor shareholder and the company will continue as before with TRM. We consider the painstaking selection and continued shareholding of TRM as a confirmation of our work. With the new shareholders on board, we are confident that we will continue our strategic alignment successfully and can continue to drive our company growth.”
