FORTEC is a stock-exchange listed public limited company with a dual governance structure. A three-member Management Board is responsible for running the company, while the three-person Supervisory Board appoints, oversees and advises the Management Board.

Ulrich Ermel, Chief Operating Officer
The graduate electrical engineer (FH) and graduate engineer has a broad range of management skills, leadership qualities and proven expertise in the areas of power supplies and embedded. Since March 2023, he has taken over the Display Technology & Embedded & Power Supply divisions and thus a comprehensive range of competencies from distribution and production to the development of complete solutions.Â
Michael Spatny, Chief Operating Officer
The electronics and communications engineer has over 30 years of international experience in the technology sector, including in various international leadership roles as CEO and CSO. In addition to his technical training, he holds an MSc in Finance from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and an MBA from Danube University Krems. He has held the role of COO on the Executive Board of FORTEC Elektronik AG since May 2026.
Henrik Christiansen, Chief Financial Officer
The business graduate has decades of management experience as a CFO and board member/managing director, as well as proven expertise in the areas of operational controlling, accounting, financing, corporate governance and IT. Since November 2025, he has been head of Finance & Controlling and Investor Relations at FORTEC Elektronik AG, where he is responsible for operational financial planning and control, the further development of the IT strategy and the development of sustainable corporate strategies.
Supervisory Board
Christoph Schubert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Christoph Schubert studied business administration in Tübingen and Münster and has been an auditor and tax consultant for over 25 years. Christoph Schubert has been a partner at a medium-sized business law firm of auditors/tax consultants and lawyers in Dortmund since 2013 and has 34 years of experience in consulting, especially for medium-sized companies.

Dr. Andreas Bastin, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Andreas Bastin studied Engineering (specialising in Logistics) and completed a doctorate at the University of Dortmund on the topic of "condition-based maintenance using telematics". He has been responsible for managing medium-sized companies for over 25 years and has been on the management board of an international, stock exchange-listed company as member or chair for 14 years.Â
Christina Sicheneder, Member of the Supervisory Board (Employee Representative)
The trained wholesale and foreign trade merchant has been with FORTEC Integrated GmbH (formerly Distec GmbH) since 1996, initially in international sales and since 2004 in marketing and communications.
