Sandra Maile, CEO and Chair of the Management Board
Business school graduate Sandra Maile was appointed Spokeswoman in 2017, then Chair of the Management Board by the Supervisory Board in 2020. Ms Maile has many years of experience in development and production, and as a member of the Management Board she has responsibility for the areas of financial accounting and cost control, personnel, quality management, IT and capital market communication; in addition, she is responsible for various sites in Germany and subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
Bernhard Staller, COO
In 2017 this qualified engineer and manager with extensive industry experience took over responsibility on the Management Board for the areas of Display Technology & Embedded, and he thus has oversight of a range of capabilities from distribution to production and complete solutions development. Since July 2020, Bernhard Staller’s Management Board responsibilities have also included the successful distribution of power supplies. He manages a variety of sites in Germany and is responsible for our subsidiaries in Great Britain and the USA.
Christoph Schubert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Christoph Schubert studied Business Administration at the universities of Tübingen and Münster. An auditor and a tax consultant for over 25 years, since 2013 Christoph Schubert has been a partner in a medium-sized commercial law firm including auditors/tax consultants and lawyers in Dortmund; thus he satisfies the competency requirements of the Deutscher Corporate Governance Kodex (German Corporate Governance Code). He has over 30 years’ experience in consulting, especially for medium-sized companies. Mr Schubert has been supporting FORTEC Elektronik AG since joining the Supervisory Board as Chair in September 2019. In addition, Mr. Schubert is Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board at Müller – Die lila Logistik AG in Besigheim and at Cardiac Research Gesellschaft für medizinisch-biotechnologische Forschung mbH in Dortmund, as well as a member of the Administrative Board of Kath. St.-Johannes-Gesellschaft Dortmund gGmbH in Dortmund.
Dr. Andreas Bastin, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Andreas Bastin studied Engineering (specialising in Logistics) and completed a doctorate at the University of Dortmund. He has been responsible for managing medium-sized companies for over 25 years and has been on the management board of an international, stock exchange-listed company as member or chair for 14 years. Dr. Bastin thus satisfies the competency requirements of the German Corporate Governance Code. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Montanhydraulik GmbH in Holzwickede.
Christina Sicheneder, Employee Representative
A wholesale- and foreign trade management clerk by training, she has been at Distec GmbH since 1996, first in international sales and from 2004 in marketing and communications.
Ms. Sicheneder has no other positions.
